It started with a hike and a bottle of wine.

We're Tara and Tiara — the two friends behind Desert Rose Events.

It began with a girls trip to Zion National Park. We hiked until our legs gave out, and then did the only sensible thing left to do: poured two glasses of wine and sat down to watch the light go orange on the canyon walls.

And we talked the way you only talk when you're that far from your inbox. About wine. About the places that stop you in your tracks. About how, in every group we've ever been part of, we're the hosts — the ones who set the table, build the playlist, and somehow know what everybody's drinking before they ask.

Somewhere between the first pour and the last of the sunset, it stopped being a conversation and became a plan. What if we did this for other people? What if we could hand someone that exact feeling — a beautiful setting, a good glass in your hand, and not one detail left for you to worry about?

We named it for the place that gave us the idea. The desert surprises people — it looks like nothing should grow there, and then the light shifts and it's the most beautiful thing you've ever stood in front of. A rose in the desert. That's the feeling we chase at every event we work.

So that's Desert Rose. We bring the bar, the bartenders, the glassware, the garnishes, the custom cocktail menu and the styling — so you get to be a guest at your own party.
